The BVSD Community School Program offers fee-based programs that operate in the schools outside of the regular school day.

Color Me Smart

Color Me Smart Preschool Age Childcare is an inclusive, caring community that provides an opportunity for three- and four-year-old children to learn social and emotional skills along with pre-literacy and pre-math fundamentals to help them be well prepared for Kindergarten.


School Age Car​e (SAC) is an on-site, licensed before and after school program geared toward Kindergarten through 5th grade students.

Facility Use

Facility Use makes school facilities available to the public during non-school hours including weekends and evenings.

Lifelong Learning

Lifelong Learning offers non-credit classes and workshops designed to give adults, teens and kids the opportunity to learn from others in their own community.
The Community School Program also produces Community Connections: Resources for Kids & Teens​, a listing of organizations and individuals providing activities and services to parents and students.
